China, Russia sign over 30 cooperative deals

(VOVworld)- Russian President Vladimir Putin is on a state visit to China at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping. At the talks with President Xi Jinping on Saturday, President Vladimir Putin stressed that two peoples hope to boost the bilateral relationship. He expressed his belief that Russia and China will gain greater achievements in trade, investment, agriculture, energy and high tech, a priority area of both countries.

President Xi Jinping said that both countries should further enhance their bilateral ties and contribute to the global strategic balance and stability. After their talks, the two presidents witnessed the signing of more than 30 cooperation deals in such areas as economy and trade, foreign affairs, infrastructure, technology and innovation, agriculture, finance, energy, media, Internet and sports. China and Russia also released a joint statement in which they committed to boosting the global strategic stability. The two leaders also signed a deal on the development of information and cyber space.
