(VOVworld) - Ho Chi Minh city hosts a 3-day forum called “Compressed natural gas (CNG) Infrastructure and Repowering Vietnam”. The event, which opens today, aims at fostering the collaboration of Vietnam and other countries, developing the domestic CNG and natural gas vehicle (NVG) industry, and encouraging the use of clean energy products.

Amidst rapid industrial development and urbanization, CNG and NVG have become essential fuels with low emission. Experts say Vietnam has been a potential customer of CNG and NVG and the country has 100 suppliers from the Asia-Pacific Region including Singapore, Malaysia, and Canada.
