(VOVworld) – Phu Tho province on Sunday, or the 6^th day of the third lunar month, held a ceremony to commemorate the death anniversary of the Great Father Lac Long Quan and Great Mother Au Co.

The ceremony was held at the Lac Long Quan Temple on Sim mountain and Au Co temple on Van mountain. The ceremony was followed by several cultural and sports activities held throughout Viet Tri city. A performance of Xoan singing and competitions of volleyball, chess, and shooting also took place. An exhibition featuring the beautiful landscape and culture of Phu Tho province and its tourist potential was held. On Saturday, a street carnival was held in Viet Tri city.
