Corruption prevention, combat work enhanced
(VOVWORLD) -Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has asked the Central Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption to fine tune socio-economic management and relevant mechanisms to lay a consistent political and legal basis for the fight against corruption.

Speaking at a meeting of the Steering Committee on Monday, Mr. Trong underscored the need to speed up investigation, prosecution, and trial of major corruption cases, saying that anti-corruption work should be intensified with resolute determination.
The Steering Committee reported that most of its plans for 2017 were met or surpassed.
