(VOVworld) – Government representatives from Cuba and the United States met in Havana on Wednesday to discuss telecommunications issues.

US Deputy Assistant Secretary and Coordinator for International Communications Policy, Daniel Sepulveda, leading a delegation comprising officials from the US Departments of State and Commerce, met with Cuban Vice Minister of Communications, Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella.
They discussed “the scope of the new US regulations” to facilitate trade and commerce between the two countries in the field of telecommunications. Cuban diplomats have informed their US partners about their informatics and cyber security development policy.
