(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung’s visit to Cuba is of great significance for Vietnamese-Cuban bilateral ties, and is considered an occasion for the two countries' leaders to hold major cooperation talks in the near future. This was stated in an evening broadcast on Cuban national television on Wednesday spotlighting Prime Minister Dung’s activities in Havana.

Meanwhile, Cuba’s news agencies Prensa Latina and AIN on Tuesday and Wednesday gave wide coverage to Vietnam. Prensa Latina quoted its interview with Prime Minister Dung who stressed that Vietnam was ready to cooperate and support Cuba in Vietnam’s advantageous fields and within its capacity.
Other online newspapers such as the Cubadebate and Granma also posted news in detail regarding Mr. Dung’s activities and his entourage during their visit.
