(VOVworld) – Cuban Vice President of the Council of State Gladys Bejerano Portela said she believes in the sustainable development of Vietnam-Cuba relations.

When Vietnamese Ambassador to Cuba Nguyen Trung Thanh presented his credentials on Wednesday, Portela said Ambassador Thanh will help to enhance the friendship and solidarity between the two countries.

Ambassador Thanh said he hopes Cuba will create favorable conditions to lift the bilateral ties to a new height and meet the two peoples’ expectations. Thanh said Presidents Ho Chi Minh and Fidel Castro’s thoughts and guidelines will set a bright example for Vietnam-Cuba relations.
