(VOVworld) – Cuban President Raúl Castro arrived in New York City Thursday, his first visit to the US as Cuba’s President.

He will deliver a speech at the 70th session of the UN General Assembly next Monday, the same day as President Barack Obama’s speech at the UN. At the end of this week, President Castro will attend a summit on sustainable development.
