Deputy PM applauds Japan’s assistance for Vietnam’s development

(VOVWORLD) -Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh applauded Japan’s assistance for Vietnam’s socio-economic development, economic restructuring and infrastructure construction.

He made the remarks while meeting with Chairperson of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan (LDP)’s Policy Research Council Fumio Kishida on Friday in the framework of President Tran Dai Quang’s state visit to Japan.  The Vietnamese diplomat said that the visit is significant to open a new development phase in the Vietnam-Japan extensive strategic partnership. On the occasion, he congratulated Mr. Kishida on receiving the Order of Friendship from President Tran Dai Quang in recognition for his great contributions to the development of the two countries’ relations.
Mr. Minh expressed his hope that Mr. Kishida will continue his support for the bilateral relations in the coming time.
