Deputy PM inspects Long Thanh airport project
(VOVWORLD) -Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung has reiterated the government’s determination to begin construction of Long Thanh airport on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh city by the end of next year.

Mr. Dung on Wednesday inspected the airport project and worked with leaders of Dong Nai province and Long Thanh district, where the airport is planned to be built. The Deputy PM stressed the importance of Long Thanh airport as a national key project approved by the National Assembly. He urged the Minister of Planning and Investment, who is also Chair of the State Appraisal Committee, to finalize project dossier to be forwarded to the Prime Minister before April 20.
