At the meetings, voters praised the results of the 1^st session of the 14^th NA and urged the deputies to focus on the East Sea issue, the fight against corruption, waste, and bureaucracy, and environmental protection. Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh said Vietnam has sufficient legal and historical evidence proving its sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos. Vietnam is determined to defend its sovereignty according to international law. He said relevant ministries and sectors are actively dealing with environmental pollution. Mr. Binh said Vietnam’s national security is ensured and people’s lives have been improved.
