Mr. Nishimura described Vietnam as a large-scale market with strong growth. Because the Vietnamese Government is equitising State-run businesses, Kirin wants to make a long-term strategic investment in Sabeco, Vietnam's leading beer producer. Mr. Nishimura said the company’s investment motto is respecting local cultures and local brands, contributing to local social development. Mr. Hue said he hopes Kirin will expand its investment in beverages, especially beverages made from Vietnamese fruit.
