(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh held a working session with the Government Committee for Religious Affairs on Thursday. He said one of the Committee’s most important tasks is to devise a general policy on religion and belief in Vietnam.

He asked the Committee to provide consultations for the draft law on belief and religion, which will be submitted to the 14^th National Assembly for approval. He said that the Committee should quickly submit to the Prime Minister its plan to hold the 2016 ASEAN Buddhist Forum, scheduled for Ninh Binh province in October.
