Developing Vietnam's culture characterized by national identities

(VOVworld) – The Center for the Preservation and Promotion of the Vietnamese culture has marked its 15th founding anniversary.

Over the past years, the center has conducted numerous activities in research, conservation, and restoration of several folk art forms which are falling into oblivion, helping to promote them domestically and internationally.

Deputy PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc was speaking at the center’s 15th ceremony in Hanoi on Thursday: “this is a good opportunity to review what the center has and hasn’t done to outline a more appropriate direction for the development of the Vietnamese culture. We hope that the center will continue its renovation and tap dynamism, creativeness, and strong points of each staff for the cause of building a national culture characterized by Vietnamese features.
