It was copyrighted and stored by the Movie Library of the French Communist Party.

The documentary traces the revolutionary career of President Ho from his participation in the 1920 Tours Congress to his journey to fight for the national independence of Vietnam. The film draws on archives and interviews with historical figures.

Guillaume has directed other documentaries about Vietnam, such as “Roads to Victory”, “Jane Fonda in Vietnam”, and “The World of Khoa” showing how a boy from the Red River Delta experienced the war in the north of Vietnam.
