(VOVworld) -  Dong Nai province will hold a seminar later this month to mark the 37th anniversary of the Liberation of South Vietnam (April 30) and the 122nd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth (May 19). The statement was released at a press conference co-organized by the Ministry of Defense and Dong Nai’s provincial Party Committee in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday. The seminar themed, “Eastern battlefield – From the Xuan Loc campaign to the Ho Chi Minh campaign” is to underline and clarify the positive spirit of the Central Committee for South Vietnam, South Vietnam’s High Command. It is also to evaluate the victory of campaigns, which will provide valuable guidance for national development. Major General Vu Quang Dao is Director of Vietnam’s Military History Institute: “The seminar will focus on the importance of our military strategy and strategic direction, as well as the brave and indefatigable spirit shown by soldiers that led us to victory. By using the strategy, we can highlight the role of the Eastern Battlefield and Dong Nai province in history, as well as at present and learn from history how to build and defend the fatherland in the new age.”
