Draft third protocol amending ACIA gets approval
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has signed a Government resolution approving the draft of the third Protocol amending the ASEAN Comprehensive Investment Agreement (ACIA).
The Vietnamese Government on July 31 approved the draft of the second Protocol amending the ACIA.
The ACIA was reached in 2009, and took effect three years later, aiming to promote investment liberalization within ASEAN and lay the foundation for the establishment of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in 2015.
