East Asia conference discusses safe, green, integrated transport system
(VOVWORLD) -600 delegates from East Asia discussed vision and program of action towards a safe, green, and integrated transport system at the 12th Conference of the Eastern Asia Society for Transportation Studies in Ho Chi Minh on Monday.

Khuat Viet Hung, Deputy Chairman of the Vietnam National Committee on Traffic Safety said: “Today we will look at how to develop a safe transport system in a smart city. Vietnam’s middle-sized urban areas have momentum to move in this direction. This will reduce pressure of national socio-economic development space.
The Conference of the Eastern Asia Society for Transportation Studies will run until Thursday. The member countries of the society include Australia, China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
