(VOVworld) – The Ministry of Industry and Trade will continue measures to help businesses, especially small and medium sized ones, to solve their difficulties and boost production in 2015. In an interview with the Voice of Vietnam, minister Vu Huy Hoang said one of the ministry’s top priorities for this year is to achieve an export growth of more than 10%: "It’s necessary to look for new export markets in addition to existing ones and renovate trade promotion methods. Activities to deal with anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures applied by other countries against Vietnamese export products should be accelerated. Another important task of our ministry is to further boost administrative reform."

Minister Hoang said Vietnam has set up a suitable roadmap to join the ASEAN Economic Community. Under this roadmap, markets will be further opened to increase export growth for Vietnam’s advantageous goods, and boost investment attraction for energy, infrastructure and high-tech projects. He also urged Vietnamese businesses to improve their competiveness to satisfy integration demands.
