E-government Development Index 2018 released
(VOVWORLD) -The Ministry of Finance tops the E-government Development Index 2018 of Vietnamese ministries and ministerial-level State agencies, 16th notches higher than in 2017, according to a report by the Computerization Department of the Ministry of Information and Communications.

The report released on Thursday gauges the IT application of ministries, ministerial-level State agencies, government agencies, and centrally-administered cities. The Ministry of Industry and Trade ranks second and the Ministry of Information and Communications ranks third.
Vietnam Social Security, a government agency, tops the list for the second time for its IT application, followed by Vietnam News Agency and Vietnam Television.
Among centrally-administered cities, Da Nang ranks first and Thua Thien Hue ranks second.
