(VOVworld) - Egypt’s highest court of appeals on Tuesday overturned a death sentence handed down against ousted Islamist president Mohamed Morsi, who was convicted of collusion with foreign militants to free Islamists in a mass jail break during the Egypt’s 2011 uprising.

According to the MENA news agency, the court will re-try Morsi and his five co-defendants, including the supreme guide of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), Mohamed Badie, who also received death sentences in the same case.
