Egyptian President El Sisi concludes his state visit to Vietnam

On the occasion, the two sides released a joint press statement highlighting the outcome of President Sisi’s visit saying it marked a milestone in strengthening bilateral friendship and multi-faceted cooperation. During the visit, the two Presidents discussed ways to boost bilateral ties, activities to celebrate the 55^th anniversary of diplomatic ties next year and providing mutual support at the UN. They agreed to increase cooperation in various aspects and work closely for progress and prosperity in each region. They affirmed the importance of strengthening international cooperation in combating terrorism and their determination to work for a maritime order in line with the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea.
