Ensuring security for IPU-132
(VOVworld)- The State Organizing Committee of the 132nd General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union met with relevant ministries and agencies in Hanoi on Saturday to review activities to ensure security and safety for the event.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Deputy Head of the Committee highlighted the importance of the event saying that the success of the event will improve the Vietnamese National Assembly’s prestige in the Inter-Parliamentary Union and promote Vietnam’s relationship with other countries. Phuc urged ministries, sectors and localities to accomplish plans to ensure security and safety for the 132nd IPU General Assembly.

The Deputy Prime Minister also inspected the preparations for the event which will take place in Hanoi in March.
