The decision followed last week’s update on the implementation of the Minsk agreement and other deals related to EU’s sanctions against Moscow of French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The measures are focused on financial, energy and defense sectors, as well as dual-use goods, and were originally imposed in July 2014 after Russia's annexation of Crimea.
