Nicanor Moscoso, President of the Latin American Council on Electoral Experts (CEELA), defended the transparency of the election despite the EU’s allegations.

Observers from the African Union, Spain, Syria, and Palestine agreed with the result of the election announced by Venezuela’s National Election Council, who said President Nicolas Maduro won the election with 68% of the votes.
