Eurozone approves 6.7bn euro bailout tranche for Greece
(VOVWORLD) - Eurozone finance ministers approved another 6.7 billion euros in bailout cash for Greece on Monday, after Athens pushed through controversial reforms that provoked strikes and protests.
EU Financial Affairs Commissioner Pierre Moscovici said that once the assessment is complete, the eurozone should prepare for a successful conclusion, which means Greece becoming once again a normal member of the eurozone.
Greek government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos said the government will get the 6.7 billion euros sometime next month.
