Exchange program among Vietnamese, Thai young people

(VOVworld) – On Wednesday, Vietnamese and Thai young people visited Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Village and Ho Chi Minh Memorial Complex in Nakhon Phanom province as part of a 7th exchange program among the two countries’ young people.

At the Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Village, they visited the President Ho Chi Minh Museum and attended a talk show about Uncle Ho’s revolutionary life, especially his time in Thailand from 1928-1929.

They learn how to weave fabric at an economic village in Thailand.

Tran Hong Han, a student of Hanoi University, said: “I’m proud to be a Vietnamese. Through this visit, I learned more about where President Ho Chi Minh used to live in Thailand and love my homeland and its history. I hope that Vietnam’s culture and history will continue to be understood worldwide.”

The youth delegation also visited the construction site for the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial complex, which is next to the Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Village and is scheduled to be inaugurated later this year.
