The exhibition, which will run until the end of December, is designed to teach people, particularly youths, about the role resistance has played in Vietnam’s history.

“This exhibition helps people understand how we struggled in the early stage of our resistance war, paving the way to national liberation and reunification in 1975. I hope it reminds people of our predecessors’ sacrifices and inculcates patriotism among the youth”, said Colonel Nguyen Trong Ham, former Deputy Chief of Staff of the Hanoi Capital Command.

National Resistance Day marks the call by President Ho Chi Minh in 1946, urging the entire people of Vietnam to launch national resistance against the French.
