(VOVworld) – The Ministry of Information and Communications hosted a conference on external information management and communications regarding Vietnam’s sea and islands.

The conference on Wednesday involved 150 representatives from Steering Committees on External Information of 31 northern provinces. Participants heard a report on how external information activities have been diversified to obtain significant results, contributing to national integration and improving Vietnam’s international status.
The conference said external communications have played an important position in national defense, improving relationships with other countries and foreign organizations, and inspiring overseas Vietnamese to engage in national reform and development.
