More than 300 Boeing 737 Max and 737 NG aircraft are reported to contain parts that don’t match the design, the FAA said, adding that Boeing must replace those parts immediately.

Boeing said it believes forty one 737 Max and 737 NG planes may have defective slat tracks. The FAA advised airlines to check additional 312 Max and NG planes to determine if their parts are also faulty. Boeing said it has not been notified of any incidents related to the slat tracks on operating flights, and the fix should only take a couple of days to complete.

All the 737 MAX airplanes are being grounded worldwide after 2 crashes that killed nearly 350 people.
