Head of the Ministry of Health’s Preventive Health Department Nguyen Thanh Phong spoke at the event: "Vietnam has selected the theme of safe production, trading, and the consumption of vegetables and meat because these are two of the main ingredients of Vietnamese people’s meals. Food safety and hygiene is of global concern. World Health Day activities are aimed at improving public awareness of the issue, including among leaders and managers."
