France, Germany urge peaceful solution to North Korea crisis
(VOVWORLD) - French and German leaders called for a peaceful solution to North Korea issues following US President Donald Trump’s threat to totally destroy North Korea.

At a press conference following his speech to the UN Security Council, French President Emmanuel Macron said the key to solving the problem of North Korea’s nuclear and missile development is to accelerate the implementation of sanctions on North Korea. He called for more active policies from Russia and China to make the measure effective. German Chancellor Angela Merkel said she will do everything in her power to ensure a diplomatic solution.
