(VOVworld) – French former Prime Minister Francois Fillon won an overwhelming victory (66.5% to 33.5%) over Bordeaux Mayor Alain Juppé in the second round of France’s right-wing primary.

Fillon will be the official right-wing and centre-right candidate for the Elysée Palace next April.
