(VOVworld) - French President Francois Hollande has called for a detailed road map to settle of the Ukraine conflict. Hollande's office issued a statement on Thursday, calling on all parties involved in the Ukraine conflict to make an effort to draw up the road map.

The statement said the aim of such a road map would be to clearly set out the steps required for "the reestablishment of Ukraine's control of its border with Russia.
The statement, which came after Hollande’s telephone talk with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on Thursday, said the French President is ready to participate in negotiations with the leaders of Russia, Germany, and Ukraine.
The French President spoke with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday, calling on them to participate in an initiative to organize a summit on the Ukraine conflict.
