Michel Drobiniak, Economic and Commercial Councellor of the French Embassy in Vietnam, and Remi Genevey, former Director of the French Development Agency in Vietnam, were honoured for their efforts to strengthen ties between the two countries.

Addressing the presentation ceremony on Tuesday, Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung said that since Drobiniak and Genevey took office in Hanoi, they have worked hard for the city’s socio-economic growth.

Mr. Chung said he hopes the two French nationals will continue to contribute to Hanoi’s socio-economic development and the partnership between Vietnam and France.
