G20 finance ministers and central bank governors meet in Fukuoka

(VOVWORLD) - Risks and challenges to global economy, actions to foster middle-term growth potential, and policies to respond to social-economic changes as a result of technological innovation and globalization were proposed by host country Japan during the meeting of G20 finance ministers and central bank governors in Fukuoka on Saturday.

However, analysts say current account rebalance among countries, collecting taxes from digital giants, and preventing using digital currency for bad purposes will be hot topics of the meetings.

Organized annually sice 1999, the G20 finance ministers and central bank governor meetings is considered an important forum where 20 major economies discuss coordinating policies to ensure stable and sustainable growth of the global economy.
