Garment-textile industry enjoys more local material inputs
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese garments and textile exports have generated more than 23 billion dollars this year, an increase of 15%.
Thanks to the CPTPP, Vietnam’s garment and textile sector could benefit from potential markets such as Australia and South Korea. President of the Vietnam Garment and Textile Association, Vu Duc Giang, believed that local content for material inputs may reach up to 68% by 2035.
