Speaking on German TV channel ARD, Ms. Angela Merkel said that’s not right at all that some countries said they don’t want to have Muslims in their countries. Backing the idea of a quota system for taking in migrants, the German leader stressed that “everyone must do their part,” and that “a common solution must be found.”

The compilation of a common policy on migrants in Europe expected to be discussed at the EU Summit in September, is controversial as Eastern European countries, including the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia, refuse to take in refugees as requested in the EU’s quota.
