The agreement was signed on Thursday. Lufthansa Technik is the official warranty station and partner of manufacturer Honeywell for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of the Honeywell auxiliary power units. Vietnam Airlines has put into operation twelve A350-900 aircraft and is scheduled to add two more in 2019. Vietnam Airlines, a member of the Skyteam Alliance, has been certified as a 4-star airline by international air transport rating organization Skytrax for 3 consecutive years and listed as one of the top Asian airlines in 2018 by tourism website Trip Advisor. The company saw a 87-percent surge in pre-tax profit in the first half of this year, approximately 83 million USD. With 35 subsidiaries and affiliates, the Lufthansa Technik AG is one of the world’s leading providers of aircraft technical services.
