“Glory Vietnam” program honors 19 role models

(VOVWORLD) - 12 individuals and 7 organizations have been honored at the 15th “Glory Vietnam” program for their breakthroughs in scientific and technological innovation and application, contributing to national socio-economic development. Honorees are vanguards in the movement of following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style.

Truong Thi Mai, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization, told a ceremony on Sunday in Hanoi that the “Glory Vietnam’ program has created positive social effects. She said: “I want Party Committees, authorities, organizations, and people will continue to nurture and promote role models. Successful national emulation movements create a firm foundation and profound power for the nation to obtain our targets of becoming an upper middle income country in 2030 and a socialist-oriented developed country in 2045.”

The honorees included the Military Medical Academy, the first organization to successfully perform human organ transplants; Military Telecommunications Group Viettel for its Smart City management center, and TH Group for its high-tech dairy cow farm.
