(VOVWORLD) - The senior officials meeting of the 6th Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS-6) and the 10th Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Development Triangle Summit (CLV-10) opens on Thursday in Hanoi.

2,000 delegates will attend the summit until Saturday, one of the 3 largest multilateral events in Vietnam this year.
Vietnam’s hosting of the events affirms the country’s increasing position, role, and contribution to regional cooperation mechanisms. The summits provide opportunities to discuss investment cooperation, trade, security, and sustainable use of Mekong water resources.
