Greece is currently trying to persuade creditors to disburse additional aid to Greece.

Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis said Greece had announced a fresh debt sale to raise cash.

Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, who is in Moscow for a two-day visit, called for an “honorable compromise” that would reopen Greek access to EU-IMF loans.

Tsipras said that despite all difficulties, Greece will do its best to make an honorable compromise with creditors, but his words failed to fully dispel market concerns about Greece’s ability to repay its debts.

Speaking to students at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, Tsipras said his priority is reaching a deal with the EU and keeping Greece in the eurozone.
