(VOVworld) - The Ha Long cherry blossom festival 2016 will open on March 18. The 3-day event will feature a variety of cultural and art exchanges between Vietnam and Japan.

There will be 40 stalls offering tourist products, food, clothing, and household appliances. A conference promoting investment in tourism and trade, particularly Ha Long Bay, a world natural heritage, will also be held. Hundreds of thousands of visitors are expected to attend the festival, which is expected to boost trade between Vietnamese and Japanese firms and between Quang Ninh and Japanese localities.
