The 60 kiosks selling souvenirs and food imitate the old architecture of Hanoi and Hoi An. 15 of them sell Tay Ho’s specialties like Phu Thuong steamed rice, fried shrimp cakes, and snail rice noodle. Other kiosks showcase craft villages’ products such as To He, sculptured figurines made of colored glutinous rice dough and traditional Gio paper. Nguyen Phuong Huyen, a local resident, said “This walking street creates a cultural space with diverse activities for locals and visitors. It will also help advertise local food.”

The Trinh Cong Son walking street is close to traffic from 5pm on Friday, and from 6am to 11pm on Saturday and Sunday.
