VOVworld) - The Hanoi Traditional Craft Village Tourism Festival 2016 closed on Sunday after 4 days of interesting activities.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Do Dinh Hong, Director of Hanoi’s Tourism Department, said the festival has attracted 30,000 visitors and become a major national event. He added: “This year’s Hanoi Traditional Craft Village Tourism Festival has contributed to preserving, promoting, and developing traditional crafts and tourism. It provides opportunities for villages and enterprises to seek cooperation and for Hanoi to introduce its food delicacies to domestic and foreign visitors.”

Ha Thi Vinh, Chairwoman of the Hanoi Handicraft Art and Village Association, said: “This is a golden opportunity for Hanoi’s craft villages to introduce their uniqueness and for us to underline the importance of craft villages combined with tourism.”

At the closing ceremony, the organizing board awarded 135 organizations and 20 individuals for their great contributions to festival.
