(VOVworld) – The Hanoi Department of Education and Training and the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam on Saturday presented Soshi scholarships 2017 to 269 students from 28 local schools.

Hanoi’s students receive Soshi scholarships

The scholarships are worth more than 65 billion VND. To gain Soshi scholarships, students are required to earn an average mark of above 6.5 and go through a contest of Mathematics, Foreign Languages, and Essay Writing for 90 minutes. Last year, 800 among 3,000 students from 12 cities and provinces applied for Soshi scholarships received scholarships worth more than 200 billion VND.
