Hai expressed his belief that the new US Consul General will continue improve ties between Vietnam and the US. Mrs Bitter said that the US always considers Vietnam one of its top diplomatic priorities, especially with Vietnam and the US negotiating a Trans-Pacific Partnership and that many US businesses have chosen Ho Chi Minh city as their newest investment destination.
