HCM City, South Korea’s Gyeongsangbuk boost ties
(VOVWORLD) - Ho Chi Minh City and South Korea’s Gyeongsangbuk province should boost their friendly cooperation under a cooperation agreement between the two localities, said Le Thanh Liem, Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee.

At a Wednesday reception for Joo Joong Chul, the Deputy Governor of Gyeongsangbuk province, in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Liem called for favorable conditions for organizing cultural and economic exchange activities in South Korea this year.
Mr. Joo said Gyeongsangbuk is ready to help Ho Chi Minh City organize Vietnamese cultural festivals in the province. He vowed strong support for people exchanges, improved human resources, better understanding, and closer unity.
