Ho Chi Minh City Days opens in Osaka, Japan

(VOVworld) – “HCM City Days in Osaka 2017” opened in Japan’s Osaka city on Thursday. The event features a lot of cultural and arts activities performed by HCM City artists, including traditional music performances, circus shows, an Ao dai (Vietnam’s traditional long dress) fashion show, martial art performances, and an exhibition showcasing handicraft and fine arts products.

Photos featuring foreign affairs, economic cooperation and cultural exchange between HCM City and Osaka city are also being displayed during the 2-day event.

The same day, a high-level delegation of Ho Chi Minh City led by the municipal Party Secretary Dinh La Thang met Osaka Governor Ichiro Matsui and Osaka Mayor Hirofumi Yoshimura. During the meetings, Mr. Thang thanked Osaka authorities to create favorable conditions for Vietnamese people to live, work, and study in the city.
