At a meeting on Friday, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City’s People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem thanked Jong-kyoung Hong, Secretary General of the Association for supporting Ho Chi Minh City to become a NEAR member. He said the city hopes to have more opportunities to promote its tourism via the Association and learn experience on smart city building. Mr. Hong invited Ho Chi Minh City to participate in NEAR’s activities including a plenary meeting in Hunan, China in October and other forums on tourism.
